5 Stars Great Detox plan
I bought this book several months ago and took my time reading it. I was elated when I got to the back and finally was able to start the plan. The detox diet was very strict but I had been looking for a detox plan that was healthy and doctor approved. It was hard and I was hungry some of the time, but I followed it pretty much to the T, exercise and all, and lost 3 pounds the first day, 5 pounds after 5 days and 7 pounds after 6 days. I’m on day 6 now, 2 days into the transition model. I made a mistake yesterday and ate a cup of brown rice thinking it was on the plan, it’s not (in the second phase). Overall I’m very happy with the results. It is hard to stick with and I do get a little hungry at times but my skin has cleared up so much and I feel so much less bloated. The psyllium husk helps with digestion, it doesn’t taste great but I have been able to take it with a glass of water no problem, it really helps you to feel full and I’ll probably do it this evening because I’ll be hungry after work. This book definitely is a diet, it has several days of very healthy eating spelled out very clearly for you, and at the end you should be able to make healthy food choices. It really made me aware of my attitude towards food and what I think it should be. I’ve noticed how food is adverised non-stop on television, which has made me re-think food, cravings, impulse eating and nutrition. Even after the 7 pound loss I’m still very overweight, and that is what is keeping me on this diet. Soon I’ll be able to have pizza, french fries and burgers (they are allowed in the plan) of course in moderation. The book is worth the money if you are willing to stick with healthy eating (a lot of fruits, vegetables and beans).

I haven’t read it yet, but I saw him on Oprah. This is a healthy way to detox yourself with food, not pills.

I have never tried a weight loss program, when my friend introduced me to this book, I figured why not give it a try. Well after about two weeks following the program I saw results. I really like this book and would recommend it to anyone that is trying to lose weight and be healthy.

I think this book was great for a beginner who don’t know a lot about healthy food choices and who really don’t know how to start to lose weight. In the beginning of the book it talked a lot about getting motivated and gave you tips and great ways to stay motivated once you have started making better healthy living choices. I found this book to be great for me even though I had alredy lost weight, it just reinforced some great tips.

5 Stars I am convinced!
Well, I am a skeptic when it comes to dieting etc. I thought all I had to do was workout and not worry about what I put into my body. This was o.k. before I had to take medication for a while. However, after being on meds, it was hard to take the weight back off. I would go from 196 to 200 depending on my workout, but I could never get below that number. Upon returning from a Miami getaway with hubby, I received a copy of the book. In 26 days, I have lost 13 lbs. This is phenomenal. I plan to keep going. I am going to repeat some of the other modules. The recipes are easy to follow. I have never had sea bass in all of my life. I bought some and tried the recipe and it is so delicious. I am a pescetarian so this was right up my alley-steamed fish. The first 4 days are tuff, but once you get past them it’s not bad. I have cheated some, but I am still loosing weight. I do not think that this is a gimmick. This could be someone like myself who has had enough of the diet drama and is happy to share her good fortune with whomever will listen.
