3 Stars unsuitable for people with weak adrenals
while i’m sure this author has the best intentions, he neglects to point out detox may not be for everyone, especially people with adrenal fatigue. ppl with adrenal fatigue need to maintain steady blood sugar levels, which means fasting is no good, and also detoxing itself can be taxing on the adrenals.

for myself, i followed his advice on the liver flush, and felt much worse after doing it. i had constipation, indigestion,and was very weak for a week or so. even now, indigestion is still bothering me. i think these problems were dormant, but once my adrenals were so weakened by the liver flush, they all exploded to the surface. i feel it is somewhat irresponsible for the author to make it as if detoxing is the way to good health for everyone. for some, they might have to build up their adrenals first.

5 Stars Great, easy to read, with a lot of useful information
I wanted to do a fast and looked at several books for fasting, but didn’t find any of them as useful as this book. The other chapters (healing process, kidney/colon/liver/mind cleansing) were excellent as well. Although I didn’t go on the authors proposed “natural foods diet”, this book made me realize how important it is to eat healthy. I have tried many of the methods in the book over the last 6-8 months and have never felt better.

5 Stars Awesome book….
I discovered this book about 12 years ago at my local library and decided to read it. It was time well spent. It gave me a better understanding of my body and how what we consume and our environment impacts us negatively. I tried the program and did the kidney, liver and colon cleanse. I was much satisfied with the results and just overall felt better. I plan to do it again soon. Definitely worth purchasing for your home library and as a tool to detox your body.

I did the oxygen therapy and it is amazing. Found a website that sells pure food grade hydrogen peroxide. Whenever I feel a cold or sickness coming on I take a day or two and do the oxygen and it puts my immune system in top shape! I feel incredible almost immediately! So glad I ordered this book :)

5 Stars Excellent British book on detox
This was carried in a health store but I got it for less on Amazon. Very detailed and useful information. Although Brenda Watson’s books are more contemporary and recommend USA products, etc., this book is useful as it has ages old home methods of cleansing, some quite cheaper.

5 Stars A Keeper
This book takes the guess work out of detoxing and the recipes are straighforward (and taste great, too!). We used a lot of the recipes after we had finished detoxing. Carol Vorderman is straight talking and personable. The book is easy to read, easy to follow and this is a book you’ll go back to again and again.

5 Stars Life-changing Diet
This has got to be the best diet on earth. The recipes are simple and all dietary aspects and restrictions are explained well. I lost 14 pounds in a relatively easy few weeks. I have recommended this to every woman I know who wants to drop a dress size or two. As a benefit (or maybe this should be the main purpose) I felt healthy for the first time in years. If you buy only one diet book ever, make it this one.

This was a great book. I found the plan easy to follow since there was no measuring portions. I could eat until I was full. Even though I don’t spend all of my life on this plan, I still use some of the recipes just because they taste so good!
